We are always expanding our interpreting team so that we can offer more languages and give a voice to more people.

If you are bilingual and are interested in taking part in our training course, please complete the application form below. 

TRAINING 
COURSES

All our interpreters take part in our training courses. We hold these regularly throughout the year, both in-person and online. 

​

If you are bilingual and would like to become an interpreter, please fill in the form below and we will let you know when the next course is taking place. 

 

If you are aged 18+, speak English fluently and also speak at least one other community language, you can apply for our 20-hour Community Interpreting training course here!

We are now accepting applications for these upcoming training courses:

In-person Course (for Ukrainian community members only): 14th, 16th, 21st, 23rd, 28th & 30th September 9:30 - 13:00 each day (with additional day for final assessment to be confirmed). We will also offer an online course later in autumn, dates to be confirmed. ​For the Ukrainian course(s), please complete this APPLICATION FORM

In-person Course (Bournemouth): 4 days this autumn (dates to be confirmed) 10:00 - 16:00 each day, with an additional day for final assessment after the course). If you are based in Bournemouth and would like to attend this course, please complete this APPLICATION FORM.

In-person Course (Nottingham): 2nd, 4th, 9th, 11th, 16th & 18th November 9:30 - 13:00 each day (with additional day for final assessment to be confirmed).

Experience

All our interpreters are required to complete our training. No prior experience of interpreting is needed to join the course, but please let us know if you do have any previous experience - formal or informal.
